Around 2015, I met Dan Scally, another local artist, at a gallery we were both showing at and he invited me to join a Rochester, NY art group, called the Arena Art Group. Arena is a 70+ year old art group comprised of local comtempory artists. I submitted an application, some images and I was voted into the group in 2016.
Being accepted into the group gave me a boost of confidence in my work. Acceptance was based on my 3D lenticular work, but since, I've moved on to another 3D medium that is less expensive to produce, 3D additive printing. Currently, I'm the digital/technical advisor and virtual gallery manager, on the steering committee of the Arena Art Group.
