Nearly two years after we filmed "Split Screen", Chet had finished editing our film and produced an fantastic orchestral score with the Cleveland School of Music. It was a beautiful, jazzy score with a soulful sax carrying much of the load.
One of my co-workers, who was the projectionist for the Movies on a Shoestring Film Festival, suggested I enter the film into the festival, which truly was an international film fest. We submiited the film and "Split Screen" won the award in 1982. Below is a photo of the award we received.
